Scrap Marathon, I'm Tired....

Here are a couple more. I love the one about my husband, this is for our 20 year anniversary. I didn't get him a card because I usually make a layout about us.

It's National Scrapbook Day

I always look forward to this day! There is so much to do. I am taking part in the challenges over at Big Picture Classes. I've completed 3 out of 4 so far. I also just was in the live chat with Suzy Plantamura over on the CK message board. Too fun. She is so creative and inspiring! Here are a few layouts I have completed today.

New layouts

Thanks CK for offering a free online class. It brought me out of my comfort zone to use mists and make flowers with border punches. It did take a long time to make the flowers, but I like how it turned out. Thanks Kim for the class.

The other layout I did was to use the colors yellow and gray together. I scraplifted a page in the CK magazine for this one and love how it came out.

I am hosting this week's challenge over at CK, so I hope you'll come play along. The challenge is to use a quote on a layout. I got my quote from someone in the quote swap.

Happy 20th Anniversary to US!

Today is our 20th anniversary. I am so lucky to have married this wonderful man. He is so good to me and a great father to our two children. God blessed me so much.

Space Needle Love

This was such a great day. It was the only sunny day while we were there, so we lucked out. It made me so happy just to see the view from up that high.

Scrapping Again

I've had some health issues lately and haven't been able to scrap much. Today I got back in my room and did a few layouts.

These were some from our trip to Seattle in February. I'm going to work on some more of these this week.
I also did one for our Word Challenge, so ironic that my word this year is health. I knew it was time to take care of some issues I've been having.
Originally the road photo from Seattle was going to represent the walks that I enjoy going on daily. Now it seem to mean so much more with the road to better health! I will have hidden journaling too.

I also did a layout for Ashley's April Sketch challenge at CK. The catch was to use navy and yellow.

So, let's hope I can keep up with this scrapping and reading again. I need to get well!!

One Hour Challenge

Thanks CK for a Saturday challenge! It's difficult to get a layout done in an hour, but I had Ashley's sketch on my scrap table to work on this weekend, so I used her sketch too. Allison made me the cute crayon embellishments last week and I used those too. The layout focused on her, since she is the "only child" now!! She finally gets a chance to talk! Just kidding Katie!
